I'm flying to San Diego today with my parents and won't be back until the 24th (school starts the 25th for me). My relatives from HK, my uncle + his wife + 2 sons, and my brother already drove there so we're going to be meeting up with them. I'm not really sure what are plans are, but we're supposed to be going to Las Vegas and Arizona later on.

Yesturday, my mom and I went to the movies to see The Dark Knight. It was an awesome movie. You should go see it if you haven't.

So that's all for now. I'll try to update while on my trip, but I won't be bringing my laptop. Plus, I'm horrible at my promises anyways. Lol.

August 4th (tomorrow or 8 minutes from right now) is my birthday! I'll be turning 17! But ewww.... I feel heck of old. But I guess I don't feel as old as I did for my 16th. Since my birthday is on a Monday, we decided to celebrate it today. We went to the indoor waterpark in Newark with one of my uncles and his family. Then we went home to eat ice cream cake and went to Koi Garden for dinner at 6pm.

I have no plans so far for the actual date of my birthday. I wanted to go get a pedicure but my cousin wouldn't have anything to do. I guess she could stay home and play the Wii or WiiFit*, but she's supposed to be here on vacation so that wouldn't be very fun. We actually have no plans until Thursday, when my aunt (not my cousin's mom) arrives from Hong Kong. We're planning on going to Japantown so that we can take sticky pics. Then the next day, my aunt, cousin, and brother are going with my uncle (the one we went to the waterpark with) and driving down to San Diego. My parents and I are going to be flying there two days later so that they can go to Legoland and other things that I'd rather not do. We're also going to LA and I think they're going to Arizona, although I'm not positive. We're staying until the 24th, which is the day right before school starts. Uh, but oh well.

*My dad still hasn't been able to buy a WiiFit. A friend of his let him borrow it so we'll have it for a few more days.

We went to pick our cousin this morning, but she was wearing her glasses and I could barely recognize her. She looks less different when she has her glasses off, but overall, she looks quite a bit different. We didn't really do much the rest of the day and we were both complaining on how bored we were. Lol. But before she went to sleep, she gave us presents. Yay! Well, most of the stuff my mom asked my aunt to buy, because stuff here in the US compared to HK is not as cute. I got two shirts, one dress, and a pair of pajamas. Everything is way too big. One of the shirts reminds me of the women in Africa that you see on tv because the shoulder part is just way too loose. But anyways, I have two favorite presents: (click to enlarge)


I also have a hello kitty band-aid on that you can see in one of the photos.

And I also finally made a new layout for this blog! It features one of the puppies named Pichu. All four have been sold already, the last two were sold today. The blankets that are surrounding him are the blankets on my bed. I have a total of 5 blankets as of now. 1 thick-ish, 1 medium, and 3 really thin. I still get cold somethings, though.

Tomorrow, we are going to the SFO airport to pick up one of my cousins from Hong Kong. She's going to be staying with us for two weeks (I think), and one of our aunts (not her mom) is coming later on. My cousin is two years younger than me (so 15) and I haven't seen her in like 2 or 3 years so I'm excited to see her. We don't really have a lot planned for her to do, though. Hopefully she doesn't get extremely bored.

Later on, we're going to be going to San Diego until the 24th, which is one day before school starts. I'm not really sure what we're going to do there, but we're going with one of my uncles, his wife, and two children. They are my favorite younger cousins so I'm extremely excited to see them.

I didn't wake up until like 11am roday. We went to have lunch and then went furniture shopping because my parents wanted a new bed frame and mattress. So we went to this furniture that originally said it was closing, but now they're just having a regular sale. My parents found a set that they liked, but they were undecided, so we went to Wal-Mart. After that, we went to Sleep Train. There was this one bed that I really liked, and so did my parents. But it was like $2000 dollars more expensive than the one at the other store so my parents decided not to get it. We went to Ranch 99 to buy groceries afterwards, and then we went back to the other furniture store.

When we got home, I kind of just laid on the sofa and listened to music. It's been almost 5 hours since dinner ended and I still haven't started on the driving program... Whoops. Lol. And I also haven't started making a new layout for this weblog. I have somewhat of an idea, but I'm just lazy.
